What You'll Do
As a Program Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our homes are safe, well-managed, and fully compliant while supporting both residents and staff.
Lead Residential Operations
- Oversee daily operations for multiple residential homes.
- Create and maintain staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts.
- Fill open shifts by coordinating coverage and responding quickly to call-offs and staffing needs.
- Be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to respond to emergencies and provide coverage when staffing shortages occur.
- Ensure consistent staffing and quality care.
- Support Team Leads and DSPs through coaching and mentorship.
- Conduct routine home visits to ensure clean, organized, and welcoming environments.
Ensure Compliance
- Maintain compliance with Indiana Medicaid Waiver and DDRS standards.
- Review Medication Administration Records (MARs), Daily Service Records (DSRs), and other required documentation.
- Prepare homes for state reviews and audits.
- Complete accountability reports and review staff timecards.
Support Residents & Families
- Coordinate person-centered services and monitor individual goals.
- Participate in IST and quarterly meetings.
- Serve as a liaison between families, healthcare providers, case managers, and agency leadership.
- Promote meaningful community involvement and quality of life.
Lead Your Team
- Coach, mentor, and develop Direct Support Professionals.
- Recognize great performance while addressing concerns promptly and professionally.
- Provide retraining and support to ensure quality services.
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment.
Manage Financial Responsibilities
- Oversee household budgets and client personal funds.
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
- Ensure transparency and accountability with all financial activities.
What We're Looking For
We're seeking a motivated leader who has:
- 2–3 years of management experience in an Indiana Medicaid Waiver or residential services setting.
- Strong knowledge of Indiana Medicaid Waiver regulations and person-centered services.
- Experience creating staff schedules and managing daily staffing operations.
- The flexibility to serve in an on-call leadership role, including being available 24/7 to address emergencies and staffing shortages.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and electronic documentation systems.
- A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
- A bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Services, or a related field is preferred.
