The Role
You will oversee multiple residential remodeling projects from initiation to completion, reporting directly to the Owner. This is a hands-on leadership role: you will manage schedules, budgets, subcontractors, and client communication, and you will be the main point of contact, keeping every project on track for quality, budget, and timeline.

Responsibilities
Project Oversight and Scheduling
- Build and manage project schedules in JobTread using Gantt charts.
- Monitor daily and weekly progress, adjusting staffing and scheduling as needed.
- Coordinate labor, subcontractors, and material deliveries to keep projects moving.
Budget, Estimating, and Cost Control
- Track project expenses and manage budgets to protect profitability.
- Collaborate on job estimates covering labor, materials, and overhead.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and reduce waste.
Compliance, Safety, and Quality
- Conduct job site inspections for safety and quality.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards, building codes, and permit requirements.
- Promote a culture of professionalism, safety, and accountability.
Communication and Leadership
- Serve as the main liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Set clear expectations, communicate updates, and resolve project conflicts.
- Coordinate trade teams (electrical, plumbing, HVAC) for smooth integration.
- Represent HEI in client and vendor meetings.
Team Development
- Provide on-the-job training and constructive feedback to crew members.
- Address interpersonal conflicts and maintain a cohesive work environment.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain daily logs, change orders, and project documentation in JobTread.
- Track and share project progress through JobTread and CompanyCam.
- Meet regularly with the Owner on project updates and challenges.
Hands-On Field Support
- Troubleshoot site issues proactively to avoid delays.
- Perform small carpentry or field tasks when needed.
Qualifications
What You Bring
- Proven experience managing crews and subcontractors in residential construction.
- Solid understanding of construction sequencing, job site safety, and carpentry.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Willingness to use JobTread and CompanyCam daily for scheduling and reporting (required).
- Strong decision-making, conflict-resolution, and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- OSHA 30-hour certification (required or obtainable within 90 days).
- Physical ability to work in varying conditions.
Compensation
$80,000 - $95,000/year
