Job Description:
The Materials Handler will transport materials, supplies, and finished products to designated locations. This position is Monday through Friday with frequent Saturday work depending on business demand.
Starting Pay:
- $17.50
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Receives, distributes, and stores products as directed in designated, secure locations.
- Transports and loads materials, supplies, and finished goods
- Collects and properly disposes of scrap bracing and metal, cardboard, and strapping; maintains a safe and clean work environment.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good math and written communication skills
- Efficient time management skills.
Education and Experience:
- At least 3-years propane powered forklift experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Must wear safety gear, such as safety glasses and gloves, when handling metal
Pay: From $17.50 per hour
