Main Tasks
- Uses a forklift and other powered or non-powered equipment to pull and ready product for shipment to customers or other company locations.
- Assures accuracy of product types and quantities for the customer's purchase order.
- Pulls and stages finished goods, and follows picking instructions for proper shipment preparation.
- Communicates product shortages and product damages to the Warehouse Supervisor or designated personnel.
- Ensures shipments to customer.
- Meets customer requirements for packaging and labelling.
- Maintains good housekeeping for assigned areas of the warehouse.
- Ability to use mathematical knowledge to make accurate transactions.
- Ability to communicate effectively to meet job requirements.
- English language proficiency in speaking, reading, and writing for meeting essential duties of the job and safe and effective performance.
- Forklift certification required.
- Understand warehouse management systems.
- Ability to work using Radio Frequency scanners.
- Proven ability to work independently and accurately.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
