Position Overview
As a Certified Litigation Paralegal, you will be an integral part of our legal team, providing essential support in all phases of litigation. From trial preparation to case management, this role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-claim investigations and initial case assessments
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and appellate documents
- Perform legal research and manage case files efficiently
- Organize and maintain pleadings, discovery indexes, and case-related documents
- Prepare exhibits, evidence, briefs, and appendices
- Assist attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests
- Serve as the liaison between trial teams and external parties
- Support attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, and settlement negotiations
What Were Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Certified Litigation Paralegal in a law firm setting with billable hour requirements.
- Certification: Paralegal certification required. Valid paralegal certificate must be provided prior to hire.
- Legal Knowledge: Strong understanding of litigation procedures, discovery, motions, and court rules
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in WordPerfect, Excel, Outlook, E-copy, Westlaw, Automated Forms, and E-Filing
- Attention to Detail: Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills
- Work Ethic: Self-sufficient, proactive, and thrives in a team-oriented environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $32 - $40 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

- Work Environment: Onsite positionremote work is not an option
