The Role
The ITD Planning Business Process Analyst, Principal will lead materials planning transformation efforts as part of a major SAP S/4HANA and Advanced Planning tool implementation. This position is best suited for a seasoned supply chain planning expert with deep SAP planning experience, strong knowledge of demand, inventory, and supply planning, and hands-on experience with Advanced Planning tools.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the Materials Planning SME for the Inventory-to-Delivery workstream within a large S/4HANA modernization program
- Lead the transformation of end-to-end materials planning processes including demand planning, statistical forecasting, inventory optimization, and supply planning
- Participate in design workshops to evaluate current vs. future-state planning processes and define best-practice solutions
- Support implementation, configuration, testing, and deployment of Advanced Planning tools (e.g., SAP IBP, Anaplan, Pigment, ORI)
- Work side-by-side with planners to support tool adoption, answer questions, and provide hands-on training and guidance
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and IT to align and harmonize planning processes
- Support change management activities to ensure strong user adoption and smooth transformation
- May lead large cross-functional initiatives related to planning and process standardization

- 3 years of hands-on experience with at least one Advanced Planning tool, such as SAP IBP, Anaplan, Pigment, ORI or similar

- Experience participating in or supporting S&OP/Integrated Business Planning processes
- Ability to collaborate, influence, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical skills and ability to translate data into recommendations and planning decisions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC)
- Experience implementing an Advanced Planning tool
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, APICS CPIM, or MBA
- Utility or large, complex enterprise experience is a plus
Who Thrives Here
- A patient, collaborative communicator who can influence without authority
- Someone who enjoys working in transformation environments—comfortable with ambiguity and change
- A hands-on problem solver with strong planning fundamentals who can coach others
- Someone energized by designing future-state processes and improving how teams operate
Why This Role Stands Out
This is not a “maintenance planning” role — it is a high-impact transformation role. You’ll help shape the future of supply chain planning processes for a large enterprise and directly influence how planning teams operate for years to come. For someone who wants to make their mark in a large-scale SAP transformation, this is a career-defining opportunity.
