We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Steward/Dishwasher to join our back-of-house team. Stewards play a crucial role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly by maintaining cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout the shift. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize all kitchen dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware efficiently and thoroughly.
- Ensure all items are properly organized and stored in designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dish area, including dish machines, floors, walls, and sinks.
- Take out trash, recycling, and compost; clean bins as needed.
- Assist with basic kitchen prep or maintenance tasks as requested by the chef team.
- Follow all safety and sanitation standards and comply with health department regulations.
- Work as a team player to support smooth kitchen operations during and after service.
- Alert management to any equipment issues or safety concerns
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail.
- Ability to take direction and communicate effectively with the kitchen team.
- Previous kitchen or restaurant experience a plus, but not required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to regularly perform motions such as lifting, pushing and pulling, bending
