Job Description

As a member of the North America Sales Team, the Client Relationship Manager is responsible for a portfolio of clients with regard to the overall satisfaction of the client. The primary responsibilities of the position include identifying and driving new sales opportunities within client base, ongoing account management, and driving client retention,

This position requires an advanced client service approach, a high level of professionalism, strong analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to influence stakeholders and decision makers both inside the Linedata organization and within the assigned book of clients. This role is highly visible, with involvement in all aspects of an account, including senior level relationship management, contract negotiation, sales closing, and ongoing relationship management. The ideal candidate will have 7 years' sales experience in progressively responsible roles relating to sales and account management in the software development or financial services industry.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Build strong and positive relationships with business owners, C-level executives, project sponsors, stakeholders, influencers, and decision makers to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction and referenceability within assigned book of clients.
  • Proactively identify client’s needs and identify additional business/revenue opportunities using a consultative approach.
  • Manage full sales cycle: Develop, advance, and close sales opportunities and software agreements
  • Understand key initiatives, both short and long-term, at assigned client organizations and leverage that knowledge into business opportunities for Linedata.
  • Act as primary point of contact and escalation for assigned clients for all operational, commercial, contractual and service related deliverables (excluding day-to-day support).
  • Develop and execute on action oriented tactical and strategic account plan for each client assigned.
  • Assess customer satisfaction and value proposition achieved within client base on products and services retained by client.

This role is highly visible, with involvement in all aspects of an account, including senior level relationship management, product demonstrations, contract negotiation, sales closing, and ongoing relationship management. In this role, individuals will work very closely with Sales Management, Relationship Management, Client Service, Product Management, Legal, and Sales Operations.

  • Actively contribute to knowledge sharing within the Linedata organization on client needs, trends and context as well as industry experience in support of the advancement of Linedata’s suite of products and services.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s Degree ( Finance/Technology Discipline or relevant professional experience).
  • 5 years of prior experience in an account management or equivalent role within the Financial/Software services industry (financial information systems preferred).
  • Responsible for securing new business revenue commitments, and meeting overall revenue targets with assigned clients. This is a quota carrying position.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster strong relationships with key stakeholders, influencers, and decisions makers up to and including C-level suite.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to analytically assess client satisfaction and value proposition.
  • Knowledge of the investment management industry with a focus on front, middle and back office processes,

nd systems.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and balance client demands while meeting self-imposed

deadlines for account management activities.

  • Superior verbal and business writing skills.
  • Travel is required for this position.
