We're looking for a Superintendent who takes ownership, leads from the front, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This is not a "clipboard superintendent" position. We need field leaders who can drive schedules, coordinate trades, solve problems, and deliver outstanding client experiences.
- Lead all field operations from mobilization through turnover.
- Maintain site safety and enforce company safety standards.
- Manage subcontractors and coordinate daily activities.
- Drive project schedules and recovery plans when required.
- Conduct daily huddles and weekly subcontractor coordination meetings.
- Maintain quality control and ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
- Coordinate inspections and AHJ requirements.
- Develop and maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules.
- Identify and remove project constraints before they impact production.
- Partner with Project Managers and Project Engineers to proactively manage project risks.
- Maintain accurate daily reports through Procore.
- Represent Graves professionally with clients, landlords, architects, consultants, and trade partners.
- Lead project closeout and turnover activities.
- 5 years of experience as a Commercial Construction Superintendent.
- Experience managing restaurant, retail, tenant improvement, hospitality, or occupied renovation projects.
- Strong understanding of scheduling and sequence of work.
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience with Procore or similar construction management platforms.
- Ability to travel as project needs require.
- OSHA 30 preferred.
