Grassy Hill Country Club is seeking an energetic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our event, membership, and hospitality sales. This role is responsible for developing new business opportunities, building relationships with clients and members, and driving revenue through weddings, corporate events, tournaments, and private functions hosted at the club.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase event bookings, membership inquiries, and corporate partnerships
- Identify and pursue new sales leads through networking, outreach, and community engagement
- Manage the full sales cycle from inquiry to contract, including site tours, proposals, and negotiations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with event planners, local businesses, and community organizations
- Collaborate with the events, catering, and operations teams to ensure successful event execution
- Maintain accurate records of leads, bookings, and sales activities in the CRM system
- Represent the club at networking events, bridal shows, and community functions
- Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to identify opportunities for growth
- Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred
- 2 years of sales experience, preferably in hospitality, event venues, hotels, or country clubs
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organized with excellent time management and attention to detail
- Experience with systems and Microsoft Office/Google Workspace
- Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed for events and client meetings
