What You'll Do

As a plumber at Grasshopper, you'll put your skills to work every day while helping homeowners and light commercial customers keep their plumbing systems running smoothly.

• Put Your Skills to Work: Perform residential and light commercial plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance.
• Be the Problem-Solver: Diagnose plumbing issues and deliver effective solutions for water supply, drainage, waste, and venting systems.
• Deliver Quality Workmanship: Ensure all work meets applicable plumbing codes, safety requirements, and Grasshopper's standards for excellence.
• Build Customer Confidence: Communicate clearly with customers, explain your recommendations, and provide a professional, positive service experience.
• Be a Leader: Share your knowledge and mentor apprentice plumbers, helping develop the next generation of skilled tradespeople.

What You Bring to the Team

We're looking for a dependable, knowledgeable plumber who takes pride in their craft and understands that great service goes beyond fixing the problem.

• Valid New York State plumbing license.
• Proven experience in residential plumbing, with the ability to handle light commercial work.
• Strong troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems, including water supply, drainage, waste, and venting.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and applicable plumbing codes.
• Willingness to mentor apprentices and share your expertise.
• Ability to meet company requirements for background checks and regular drug testing.

What to Expect on the Job

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, with overtime available as needed.
• Location: Clifton Park, NY.
