We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Budtender to join our team. Bilingual abilities and prior retail experience are highly valued to enhance customer interactions and support diverse clientele.
Duties
- Provide exceptional customer service by understanding customer needs and recommending suitable products
- Operate POS systems efficiently for sales transactions, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Conduct product demos to educate customers about various cannabis products and accessories
- Upsell complementary products to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and inventory counts
- Ensure compliance with all legal regulations and store policies regarding product sales
- Demonstrate professional phone etiquette when handling inquiries or follow-up calls
- Support team members by supervising during busy periods and assisting with training new staff as needed
Experience
- Previous retail sales experience, preferably in a retail outlet or similar environment
- Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and basic retail math skills
- Experience in supervising or leading a team is a plus
- Ability to perform product demos and upselling techniques effectively
- Strong communication skills, including bilingual proficiency to serve diverse customers
- Knowledge of merchandising, stocking procedures, and retail sales best practices
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Experience with phone etiquette and providing clear information to customers
