What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraeducator - Speech 2026-27 position at Grant Wood Area Education Agency?
Grant Wood AEA Paraeducator position will start August 2026 and work out of our Coralville center, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/ week during the school year serving school districts in our southern regions.
Job Summary:
Provides assistance to licensed instructional or support staff in the delivery of Agency services.
Works with licensed Speech-Language Pathologist's to deliver educational support services.
Qualifications:
1. Two years of post high school training in a social science or education related field, or,
alternatively, paraeducator certificate or two years paraeducator experience.
2. Prior experience in a classroom setting.
Starting hourly wage: $17.50 - $18.55 per hour. Single health, dental & vision coverage at no cost, $25,000 term life insurance, IPERS retirement system.
