Job Description:

As the Growth & Marketing Lead, Integration, you serve as the strategic coordinator and single point of accountability for integrating global platform firms into Grant Thornton's global go-to-market (GTM) and marketing operating model. This role is responsible for aligning specialized workstreams into one integrated plan, connecting decisions and dependencies across teams, and ensuring each firm transitions cleanly from integration into business-as-usual (BAU). You provide integration direction across the entire GTM and Marketing ecosystem, collaborating with enterprise-wide functions and global teams as needed.

Reporting directly into the Global GTM Operations & Modernization Director and coordinating through the Integration Management Office (IMO), the firm's central governance body for coordinating and overseeing integration execution, you translate enterprise integration priorities into structured, phased execution plans. The GTM and marketing integration capability leads report into this role. You operate as both a strategic integration leader and a hands-on problem solver, seeing across workstreams, anticipating downstream impacts, and translating ambiguity, risks, and competing priorities into clear options and recommendations for leadership.

Your Day-to-Day May Include:

  • Serve as the single accountable owner and strategic coordinator for global platform-firm integration across GTM and marketing, maintaining an integrated view of scope, milestones, owners, dependencies, decisions, risks, financials, and BAU handoffs.
  • Lead and align the GTM and marketing integration capability leads across Brand & Marketing, Creative, Sales & Marketing Collateral, Proposal Services, Marketing Operations, Reporting & Insights, and related workstreams, establishing clear accountability while enabling each leader to focus on specialized delivery.
  • Partner closely with the Customer Platforms Leader and CRM integration resources, to align shared milestones, data requirements, technology dependencies, risks, and go-live decisions.
  • Translate enterprise and acquisition priorities into executable, phased integration plans that sequence work by firm and wave and define clear outcomes, decision points, dependencies, and completion criteria.
  • Leverage the Marketing Operations integration team as the coordination layer across workstreams, ensuring consistent program management, ClickUp adoption, change management, logistics, financial oversight, documentation, and executive reporting.
  • Build and manage the cross-workstream operating rhythm, including planning sessions, status reviews, decision forums, leadership readouts, and escalation mechanisms that keep global and local stakeholders aligned and moving.
  • Identify cross-workstream gaps, sequencing conflicts, capacity constraints, and emerging risks; assess downstream impacts and translate complex or ambiguous issues into viable options, trade-offs, and recommended actions for leadership.
  • Manage integration activities against available capacity and priorities, making or escalating decisions on scope, sequencing, resourcing, and trade-offs through the appropriate governance channels.
  • Partner with Finance, the IMO, and the Marketing Operations integration team to oversee integration budgets, forecasts, actuals, contractor spend, variances, and reporting needed to support governance and integration cost treatment.
  • Maintain a strategic understanding of the GTM and marketing technology landscape across acquired firms, ensuring tools, contracts, owners, dependencies, and transition implications are incorporated into integration planning and decisions.
  • Establish and continuously improve integration playbooks, frameworks, governance standards, and reusable approaches that increase the speed, consistency, and scalability of future integrations.
  • Prepare executive-level materials and drive clean transition into BAU ownership by confirming decisions, operational readiness, documentation, training, ownership, and handoff criteria across workstreams; perform other duties as assigned.

You Have the Following Technical Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Technology, or related field; MBA preferred
  • 10 years of experience in go-to-market strategy, marketing operations, business integration, M&A execution, transformation, or related leadership roles within professional services or B2B environments
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex, multi-workstream integrations or transformations and coordinating specialized functional teams within a global, matrixed organization
  • Strong GTM and marketing experience, with an understanding of how brand, creative, sales enablement, proposals, marketing operations, CRM, reporting, analytics, and digital capabilities connect within an integrated operating model
  • Proven ability to maintain an enterprise-wide view, anticipate downstream impacts, manage dependencies and sequencing, and convert ambiguity into clear options, trade-offs, recommendations, and decisions
  • Experience leading acquisition or business integration planning from discovery through execution, readiness, and transition into BAU ownership
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders, align functional experts, and present complex issues in a concise, decision-ready manner
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen, including experience with integration budgets, forecasts, cost tracking, resource models, and governance reporting
  • Working knowledge of GTM and marketing technology environments and the ability to assess unfamiliar tools, contracts, integrations, owners, and business dependencies
  • Dynamic, adaptable, and comfortable leading through ambiguity, changing priorities, incomplete information, and multiple concurrent integrations; can travel as needed
