Position Overview:
The Dual Immersion Teacher will deliver instruction in Spanish for students in the Spanish Dual Immersion program. This role involves creating a supportive and dynamic classroom environment that nurtures students' language skills, cultural awareness, and academic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
· Plan, prepare, and deliver lesson plans and instructional materials.
· Assess students' progress and provide regular feedback to students and parents.
· Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning experience.
· Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports the diverse needs of students.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in education, Spanish, or a related field.
· Valid teaching credential or license for the appropriate grade level and subject.
· Proficiency in both Spanish and English required.
· Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Commitment to fostering a love of learning and promoting cultural diversity.
