The Granite YMCA is seeking a full-time Camping Services Enrollment Coordinator to support our overnight camp programs. We are looking for an enthusiastic, detail-oriented professional who is passionate about youth development and making a positive impact in our community.
The Camping Services Enrollment Coordinator works closely with the Executive Directors of Camp Foss and Camp Mi-Te-Na to manage all aspects of camper enrollment and registration. This role serves as the primary point of contact for camper families throughout most of the year and plays a key role in camper recruitment, retention, and overall customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee registration processes for Camp Foss, Camp Mi-Te-Na, Family Camp, and camp rentals
- Prepare and maintain the camp database, registrations, invoicing, payment plans, and accounts receivable
- Communicate with camper families regarding enrollment, questions, concerns, and special requests in a timely and professional manner
- Manage cabin requests, collect registration documentation, and review medical forms for completeness
- Support camp leadership with rental contracts, annual licensing applications, membership network paperwork, and administrative projects
- Assist with camper recruitment and retention initiatives for both camps
- Complete end-of-season reports and year-end retention data
- Travel to Camp Foss and Camp Mi-Te-Na approximately one day per week during the summer season (late June–August)
Position Specifics
- Schedule: Monday–Friday with flexible hours
- Work Location: In-person; office located in the child care center building at the Concord YMCA
- Seasonal Travel: Weekly travel to Camp Foss and Camp Mi-Te-Na during summer months
Qualifications
- Three or more years of related administrative or customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of overnight camping environments strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Excel, and database management systems
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including phone and email etiquette
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Ability to work collaboratively, remain flexible, and contribute positively within a team environment
