Overview:
Registered Nurses/LPN will report to the Director of Nursing/Assistant Director of Nursing and are responsible for all nursing related services for each patient during their stay at Green Mountain Treatment Center. They will provide all services under the supervision of the Director of Nursing or medical provider on duty. Registered Nurses/LPN oversee the medical and psychiatric management of patients in coordination with the providers and care team.
Knowledge:
- Licensure/Certification: Licensed to practice nursing in the State of New Hampshire and maintains current licensure per state requirements.
- Knowledge of standard emergency procedures and medication administration
- Knowledge of airborne and bloodborne pathogens and the use of universal precautions
Skills:
- Detox experience or knowledge of addictions and mental health complications preferred
- Assess individual patients and document in daily shift notes/progress notes when needed
Abilities:
- Respond to and assist with any emergency medical situations and complete necessary documentation related to the incident
- Administer and manage medications according to doctor’s orders
- Assess patients for clinical signs and symptoms, report concerns to the provider, and follow up as necessary
- Meets with patients requesting to see medical to determine the urgency of their medical needs and expedite treatment as required
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability and responds positively to changing situations in the work setting

- $2,500.00 sign on bonus*
- Position will pay a $3.00 shift differential
- Protect the privacy of all patient information as required by federal and state law, and in accordance with the general principle of professionalism as a healthcare provider
- Maintains up-to-date training according to company policy
