We are currently seeking a full-time Recruiter to support full-cycle recruitment and onboarding.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct recruitment efforts for exempt/nonexempt positions, internally and externally
- Conduct candidate screening and interviews, work with hiring managers to understand specific hiring needs and create and extend employment offers for employment
- Communicate actively and effectively with candidates via phone, text messages, email and in person
- Accurately complete pre-hire and post-hire paperwork such as background checks and onboarding new hirers including I-9s into the HRIS
- Maintain employee files electronically
- Communicate and support the training department with new employee orientation processes
- Conduct training as needed for new employee orientation
- Create, update, revise and maintain job descriptions with the support from the Human Resources Director
- Participate in developing department goals, objectives and systems for tracking candidates
- Represent GBC at on-going recruitment events such as career fairs
- Assists and supports other HR related needs
Required Qualifications and Requirements:
- Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have knowledge of online sourcing and local sourcing techniques
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Must have safe and reliable automobile.
- Must have active automobile insurance policy
- Must have strong ethical and moral character.
- Must have proven time management skills which support productivity and efficiency.
- Must be reliable and dependable.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must have experience using computers, be comfortable learning and applying new technology, competent in conducting research through internet search engines, etc.
Preferred Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate Degree in Business
- SHRM-CP Certified
