Granger Medical Clinic is seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant to join our Draper Allergy Clinic.
In this role, you will assist in the day-to-day operations of the clinic, including administering allergy injections, supporting patient care, and assisting with prior authorizations when needed. Comprehensive, hands-on training will be provided. Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred but not required.
Skills and Abilities:
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate courteously and effectively
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to communicate professionally with physicians, staff, and patients
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Dependable, flexible, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Team-oriented with a willingness to support others
Essential Functions and Duties:
- Collect and maintain accurate patient demographic information
- Obtain prior authorizations for medications and procedures
- Prepare patients for exams and provide providers with relevant clinical information (lab results, vitals, medications, allergies)
- Communicate with patients regarding scheduling and care needs
- Perform allergy testing and administer allergy injections
- Provide patient education and assist with medication refills
- Support general patient care and clinic operations
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Medical Assistant certification preferred
- 1–2 years of medical office experience preferred
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
- Standing and walking for extended periods, Lifting up to 50lbs.
- Repetitive motion associated with operating a computer and other office equipment.
- Inside, climate-controlled working conditions.

The salary range listed is the base salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors including but not limited to work experience, education, and/or skill level.
