Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure a hygienic environment
- Clean floors using various methods such as sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor care techniques to maintain their appearance and safety
- Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing for clients
- Maintain the cleanliness of surfaces such as countertops, appliances, bathroom fixtures, and furniture with proper cleaning techniques
- Use manual handling skills to lift heavy furniture or equipment safely during deep cleaning or outdoor work tasks
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific cleaning preferences and address any special requests or concerns
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping management is preferred; janitorial experience is a plus
- Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong time management skills to complete tasks within scheduled timeframes without compromising quality
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, outdoor work experience, and extended periods of standing or walking
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs
- Familiarity with cleaning detergents and supplies to ensure safe handling and effective results
- Attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining high standards of cleanliness in all areas
