Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services during breakfast hours, ensuring that our guests start their day with a delightful dining experience. You will play a key role in meal preparation, food safety, and maintaining cleanliness in the breakfast area.
Duties
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area prior to service, ensuring all food items are fresh and presented attractively.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas throughout the breakfast service.
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations during meal preparation and service.
- Assist guests with their breakfast selections, providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or requests.
- Perform meat cutting as needed for breakfast items, ensuring proper techniques are followed for quality and safety.
- Utilize OpenTable or similar systems for managing guest reservations or special requests when applicable.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items to guests.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas after service.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Ability to perform basic meal preparation tasks efficiently.
- Experience with meat cutting is a plus.
- Excellent guest services skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness in high-paced environments.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings on weekends.
- Familiarity with delivery driver responsibilities is an advantage but not required.
