Graduate Assistant -Football

Grand View University Athletics Department is accepting applications for a Football - Graduate Assistant position (tuition waiver stipend) starting Fall 2026 semester.

This position will support the Head Football Coach in establishing and successfully coaching a Football program within the guidelines of the Grand View University Athletic Department that adheres to the mission of the university.

Essential Functions of Job:

1. Assist the Head Football Coach in developing a successful Football Program.
   1. Conduct recruitment activities in accordance with NAIA rules and regulations.
   2. Establish an effective schedule for practices and games.
   3. Organize and help conduct all Football related camps and clinics
   4. Manage all training activities for student-athletes to ensure proper preparation for Football season.
   5. Promote attendance at Football events by providing information for students, faculty, staff and the public.
   6. Assist the athletic sports information office to maintain information on the web page and coordinate television, print and radio information.
2. Perform other athletic administrative duties as assigned.
3. Maintain confidentiality.
4. Participate in continuing education.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. Completion of Bachelor’s degree and acceptance into Grand View University Master’s program required.
2. Successful coaching experience at the high school or college level required.
3. Ability to interact with students, parents, admission staff, and the public in a positive way.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Hire, train and monitor the activities of student employees.
