Part-Time Faculty Openings – Communication and Media Practice
Fall 2026 and Spring 2027
The Department of Communication and Media Practice at Grand View University is seeking qualified applicants for part-time faculty positions in the following areas: writing, audio production, and video production.
Courses & Scheduling
Assignments may include teaching undergraduate courses in:
- Writing for media and communication
- Audio production
- Video production
Spring and Fall 2026 course schedules will be finalized in consultation with departmental needs and faculty availability.
Course Goals
These courses introduce students to professional practices in media writing and production while also emphasizing ethical communication, intercultural awareness, and critical engagement with media. Students will gain practical skills in developing content across platforms and will reflect on how communication contributes to inclusion, belonging, and social impact.
