Part-Time Adjunct Nursing Clinical Faculty
Responsibilities:
The adjunct clinical faculty will be responsible to the Department Chair of Nursing and the Nursing Faculty in the individual nursing course(s) for which they are assigned.
- Clinical teaching faculty will provide clinical instruction to a group or groups of nursing students. Limits on numbers of students are imposed by the Iowa Board of Nursing.
- Attend orientation sessions at Grand View as appropriate.
- Meet with the course instructor prior to the semester.
- Consult weekly with the course faculty.
- Provide weekly progression notes on students using the Student Progress Report.
- Negotiate with course faculty regarding course responsibilities and grading of assignments.
- Assist in evaluation of students using the Student Progress Report.

Qualifications:- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or Bachelor of Arts in Nursing or higher degree. Master’s Degree preferred, or must be working towards a Master’s Degree in nursing
- Two years of clinical experience in nursing.
- Current Iowa RN licensure (Individuals who are currently licensed in another state and recognized for licensure in Iowa, pursuant to the nurse licensure compact contained in Iowa code).
