The Position: As an Installation Technician, you will work alongside the organizations, Operations Manager, and other Technicians on a variety of responsibilities and projects. This position includes tight deadlines and a multitude of activities and will report to the organization’s Operations Manager. The exact responsibilities for this position will be determined by the experience of the candidate hired.

Responsibilities:

· Install commercial HVAC equipment according to safety requirements, company standards, and manufacturer specifications.

· Installation of hoods, vents, duct work, refrigerant lines, etc. in a commercial environment.

· Produce quality workmanship while completing projects on time and on budget.

· Well organized with the ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure all jobs are done correctly.

· Willingness to learn programs and skills and constantly be learning through training from peers and project managers.

· Maintains a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

· Accurately report time, materials, and equipment per job within the field service management software.

· Provide exceptional customer service and maintain positive relationships with clients.

· Keep up to date with industry’s best practices and emerging technologies.

· Other assignments and responsibilities as necessary.

Requirements:

· Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in commercial HVAC installation or a related field.

· Strong knowledge of HVAC system, materials, and techniques.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Valid driver’s license.

· Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

· Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

The Location: Grand Traverse Refrigeration is based in beautiful Northern Michigan. This position will be based out of our Traverse City office. This is a great place to live, work and play! Candidates should be able to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work.

• HVAC installation or a related field: 3 years (Preferred)
