Duties
- Operate overhead cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment with precision and adherence to safety protocols
- Safely handle and load materials using rigging techniques and load securing methods to prevent accidents or damage during transportation
- Follow load handling procedures in crane operations
- Assist in shipping & receiving processes by loading and unloading materials efficiently while adhering to warehouse safety standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating overhead cranes, forklift, or similar heavy equipment within a construction or manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical knowledge of crane operation systems, and load handling procedures
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including materials handling and heavy equipment operation in various weather conditions
- Prior experience working in shipping & receiving or warehouse environments is advantageous
