Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Laborer to join our manufacturing team in a Steel Warehouse. In this dynamic role, you will be an essential part of the production process, supporting various operational tasks to ensure efficient and safe manufacturing activities. This position is on our Banding Line. This position offers an engaging environment where manual skills, mechanical knowledge, and teamwork are highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Assist with heavy lifting, manual handling, and moving materials throughout the manufacturing floor
- Operate power tools, hand tools, forklifts, and measuring instruments safely and efficiently
- Support assembly line operations by assembling components according to specifications
- Maintain adherence to safety protocols and standards during all activities to ensure a secure work environment
- Support warehouse functions including inventory management, material storage, and shipment preparation
Skills
- Proven experience with forklift operation and warehouse procedures
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in manufacturing or factory settings
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments for assembly and maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling safely over extended periods
- Effective communication skills for managing production or assembly teams when necessary
- Prior experience working in manufacturing management or supporting process improvements is a plus

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
