- Maintain a positive attitude with guests and team members.
- Identify guests’ challenges, diffuse situations, and provide service recovery.
- Actively listen to guest inquiries and respond using a positive, clear speaking voice.
- Relay accurate information to guests regarding hours of operation, hotel services, restaurants, meeting and convention rooms, airline shuttle service, etc.
- Check guest tickets for seating numbers and direct or escort the guests to their seats.
- Use linens, table toppers, and table numbers to set up showroom seating.
- Stand at podium in re-entry area during events to ensure visibility to guests.
- Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.
- Possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability of simple reading, writing, and math skills is required.
- Must have the following skills: analyzing, instructing, following instructions, memorization, and problem solving.
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Any combination of education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- While performing the duties of this job, the team member is constantly standing, walking, and occasionally reaching overhead, and bending over during the duration of their shift.
- Must be able to lift/carry 10lbs or less frequently.
- The team member will constantly have repetitive use of both feet and hands and require occasional light grasping motions. Finger dexterity of both hands will be frequently required.
- Frequent use of vision abilities is required including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision.
