What You'll Do
The Medical Assistant plays a vital role on our healthcare team, providing both administrative and clinical support to ensure smooth operations and quality patient care. They will provide direct, compassionate and professional medical care to patients at our Specialty Clinic and assist in all aspects of medical practice under the supervision of a medical provider.
- Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
- Interviews patients, measures vital signs (i.e., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height), and records or inputs information to patients’ medical records.
- Administers immunizations.
- May be required to draw and collect blood samples from patients and prepare specimens for laboratory analysis.
- Participates in frequent interaction with patients regarding all levels of concerns and questions.
- Keeps up-to-date on public health policies and procedures.
Who We're Looking For
- Courses or experiences showing commitment, reliability, or work ethic
- Brings Certified Medical Assistant/Registered Medical Assistant experience, but we'll consider all experiences
- Speaks both English and Spanish to better serve our community, but not required
- Must have a current BLS card within 3 months of initial employment and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.

- $19.50 - $29.72 considering certifications
- Compensation may vary outside this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experiences
