What are the responsibilities and job description for the Recruiter and Retention Specialist position at Grand Rapids Transport, Inc.?
We are seeking a Recruiter and Retention Specialist to join our team! You will primarily recruit truck drivers for our fleet and maintain a repour with the drivers as a retention specialist. There will be some recruiting of new business and repour with our customers to maintain relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit truck drivers via phone, email, social media and other means.
- Screen and interview potential truck drivers with assistance from management
- On-board and keep some contact with the drivers to support retention
- Call, email or visit new and existing business with assistance from management
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in trucking and recruiting, sales or human resources.
- Ability to build rapport with all employees
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written, verbal and personal communication skills
- Self-motivated
