Grand Peak Academy is seeking a Math Interventionist for the 2026-2027 school year! This individual will join a committed team of educators to strengthen the foundation of an extraordinary school. In their daily practice, the GPA Math Interventionist will develop and implement a program addressing the support needs of students leveraging data and evidence-based teaching practices.

Essential Functions And Responsibilities
- Follow all rules, policies and procedures of Grand Peak Academy along with state and federal regulations pertaining to school issues and IDEA.
- Work with individual or small groups of students who are at-risk in Math to provide educational interventions and progress monitoring.
- Instruct Interventionists to implement small group/individual Math instruction, progress monitoring, and other activities related to Math support.
- Work with school personnel in the Multi-tiered System of Support/Response to Intervention (MTSS-RTI) process by assisting in determining Intervention Plans and Individualized Education Program services.
- Maintain a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information.
- Attend team/parent meetings as required; provide input to teams regarding student academic strengths and weaknesses.
- Maintain data-based documentation of continuous monitoring of student performance and progress during interventions.
- Uses data to provide instruction to students and to bring their skills to grade-level
- Collaborates with teachers, administration, and families to help identify best practices for individual and small groups of students
- Uses identified research-based interventions focused specifically on individual student needs
- Maintains data-based documentation of continuous monitoring of student performance and progress
- Provides data to school teams and participates in decisions about student progress
- Communicates with teachers, administration, and families regarding student progress
- Assists with identifying students for placement in intervention groups
- Participates in meetings with teachers, administration, and families to discuss student placement and progress
- Provides diagnostic assessments for students as needed
- Provides input for program development
- Supports implementation of assessment tools and data management systems
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as requested by the Principal or Designee.
- Plan for and facilitate Math PLC meetings for teachers
- Demonstrated success in growing struggling learners
- Must have a Colorado teaching license or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Successfully complete a background check
