About the Role
Grand Mere Restaurant Group is seeking a strong, people-focused Area Coach to lead and support multiple Pizza Hut restaurant locations. This role is responsible for driving operational excellence, developing high-performing Restaurant General Managers (RGMs), and delivering outstanding guest experiences while achieving strong financial results.
The Area Coach is a culture leader, business operator, and people developer who leads through coaching, accountability, and execution.
What Youβll Do
People Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop RGMs and management teams
- Maintain clear, consistent, and transparent communication
- Drive performance through coaching, goal setting, and accountability
- Identify root causes of performance gaps and implement solutions
- Partner closely with HR and the Operations Director
- Conduct performance reviews, mid-year business reviews, and goal setting
- Ensure consistent onboarding, training, and development
- Promote a safe, inclusive, and positive workplace culture
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels and support recruiting efforts
- Lead by example, modeling Grand Mere and Pizza Hut standards
Customer Experience
- Ensure safe, clean, and welcoming restaurants for guests and teams
- Lead CHAMPS execution and deliver Hot, Fast, and Reliable service
- Use customer feedback to drive improvement plans
- Reinforce food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
- Support local marketing and community engagement efforts
- Coach teams on service excellence, product quality, and operational execution
Business & Financial Performance
- Drive results aligned with GMRG GOALS
- Manage labor, cost of sales, controllable expenses, and R&M targets
- Analyze performance trends and act quickly to correct outliers
- Lead weekly Area Meetings with RGMs
- Execute national and local marketing initiatives
- Ensure strong curb appeal and properly maintained equipment
- Communicate operational opportunities and challenges to leadership
What Weβre Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of QSR experience, preferably in multi-unit leadership
- ServSafe Certified Proctor
- Ability to pass a background check and maintain an acceptable MVR
- Flexible schedule; willing to work all shifts and days as needed
- Ability to work 45β50 hours per week based on business needs
- Strong leadership, communication, and coaching skills
- Consistently meets or exceeds leadership performance expectations
