Duties
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments, ensuring proper cash drawer management and balancing at shift end
- Provide outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and guiding clients through banking products and services
- Promote and upsell banking products such as loans, credit cards, savings accounts, and investment options to meet customer needs
- Detect and prevent fraud by monitoring transactions for suspicious activity and adhering to industry-specific financial compliance protocols
- Manage customer relationships through effective relationship management techniques, fostering trust and loyalty
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools and banking software to maintain accurate records, process transactions efficiently, and generate reports as needed
Experience
- Proven experience in customer service within a financial or banking environment preferred
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures, cashiering, and basic math skills such as retail math and industry-standard calculations (debits & credits)
- Knowledge of banking products, financial regulations, and compliance standards essential for ensuring secure operations
- Technical proficiency with banking software systems, Microsoft Office applications, and cash management tools required
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally in diverse customer interactions
- Ability to perform detailed tasks such as 10-key typing quickly and accurately while maintaining focus on accuracy and compliance
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
