Medical Assistant — Grand Junction Dermatology PLLC
Grand Junction Dermatology PLLC, a new dermatology practice opening in Grand Junction, CO, is hiring a full-time Medical Assistant. Join our small clinical team and help build a brand-new practice from the ground up!
Starting Pay Range: $20-22/hr
Responsibilities:
- Room patients, take vitals/histories, prep for visits
- Assist providers during exams and minor procedures
- Maintain and stock exam rooms; sterilize instruments
- Apply dressings, give patient education per provider direction
- Document accurately in EMR (Electronic Medical Record)
- Coordinate biopsies, labs, prior authorizations, and refills
- Help develop clinical workflows as we grow
Requirements:
- CMA/RMA certification preferred or equivalent experience
- Dermatology or specialty experience a plus
- Excellent multitasking and organizational skills
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, flexible, and detail-oriented
- Team player excited to help start a new practice
- CPR/BLS preferred or willingness to obtain
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
