What are we looking for?
Clarity Dermatology is seeking a reliable, friendly, and energetic Medical Assistant who can provide administrative and clinical support to ensure efficient operation of our Boulder and Niwot offices. This is a PART-TIME, 2-3 day a week position (M-W-F) that will require weekly travel between our Boulder and Niwot offices. This position supports the providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The ideal job candidate is mature, reliable, responsible, and able to conduct themselves in a professional manner in a busy medical office environment. Previous experience as a medical assistant is preferred, but not required, and no Medical Assistant Certificate is needed – we will train you on the job!
Responsibilities
- Room patients and document basic medical history
- Obtain all necessary patient records as required by physician
- Obtain and verify presence of signed consent forms prior to treatment or procedures
- Assist provider during medical examinations and procedures
- Complete all charting for provider in EMR system
- Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
- Set up and prepare rooms for cosmetic/medical procedures
- Make phone calls and schedule appointments as needed
- Complete prior authorizations
- Inform patients of their biopsy results

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
