We are looking for a Radiology Technologist for our surgery department to assist physicians by performing radiographic procedures. The Grand Island Surgery Center provides a fun family-oriented atmosphere with competitive wages and benefits program. No night shifts, weekends, holidays, or call.
Responsibilities
- Preform radiographic procedures as prescribed by the physician.
- Operates portable radiographic equipment and monitors its operation.
- Anticipate surgeon and patient needs during a procedure.
- Collaborate with physicians and nurses in caring for patients.
- Positions patient for the proper view of the affected area(s) and maintains the sterile field for the patient during procedures.
Skills
- Previous surgery experience is preferred, but willing to train qualified candidates.
- Excellent knowledge of radiology technologist methods and procedure.
- A team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Well organized and able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
