Position Summary:
The Service Porter is responsible for moving and parking vehicles for our service customers and assisting the service writers in the customer hand-off upon completion of vehicle maintenance.
Essential Functions:
- Ensures that all customer vehicles have protective coverings placed inside prior to service and removed prior to returning completed vehicle to customer
- Drive customer and dealership vehicles in a responsible manner
- Fills loaners with gas
- Assist as required to maintain the service shop area and customer lounge
- Assist Service Advisors in parking and retrieving customer vehicles from the lot
Position Requirements:
- Excellent communication, listening and organizational skills
- Maintain a professional, respectable and well-groomed appearance
- Possess a courteous, friendly and outgoing demeanor
- Ability to speak and communicate clearly
- Possess a high school diploma or GED.
- Valid driver’s license
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screen
