Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional patient care.
Duties
- Screening patients during checkups
- Take and record vital signs as needed, providing essential information to the dental team.
- Reviewing a patient’s dental history
- Recommending care to improve a patient’s oral health
- Teaching patients about proper teeth cleaning and oral health techniques
- Performing preventive dental care
- Applying fluoride treatments
- Applying Dental Sealants
- Taking x-rays and reviewing them for signs of dental diseases
- Implement infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
- Take and record vital signs as needed, providing essential information to the dental team.
- Operate dental equipment, including 3D scanners, and assist with digital imaging as required.
Experience
Candidates should possess experience or training in the following areas:
- Must have at least Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining patient confidentiality.
- Proficiency in infection control practices and aseptic techniques.
- Familiarity with operating 3D scanners is advantageous.
