Grand Hyatt DFW is seeking an energetic, detail-oriented, and service-focused Food & Beverage Runner to support restaurant and outlet operations by ensuring food and beverage items are delivered accurately, efficiently, and professionally to guests. Located inside Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Grand Hyatt DFW is a premier luxury hotel known for its elevated service, upscale amenities, and exceptional convenience for business and leisure travelers from around the world.

This role is responsible for maintaining clear communication between the front-of-house and culinary teams, delivering menu items promptly, and helping create a seamless dining experience for guests. The ideal candidate is organized, fast-paced, team-oriented, and committed to service excellence in a high-volume hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverage orders from the kitchen and service areas to guests in a timely, accurate, and professional manner.
• Ensure all plates, accompaniments, condiments, and presentation standards are correct before leaving the kitchen.
• Communicate clearly with servers, bartenders, and culinary colleagues to support smooth service operations.
• Assist in expediting orders and maintaining the flow of service during peak meal periods.
• Describe dishes when delivering food and respond courteously to basic guest questions.
• Monitor tables for additional service needs and communicate guest requests to the appropriate service team member.
• Support cleanliness and organization of service stations, dining areas, and back-of-house pathways.
• Assist with resetting tables, clearing dishes, and replenishing service items as needed.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and handling procedures in accordance with Hyatt standards and local regulations.
• Help maintain a polished and welcoming dining environment for guests.
• Work collaboratively with restaurant and outlet teams to ensure an exceptional guest experience.
• Perform opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant, food runner, busser, hospitality, or food and beverage experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to service standards.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and carry trays or items safely.
• Flexible availability, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift and carry up to moderate weight.
