Roles and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

The Area Reservation Agent is responsible for managing reservation duties, including handling guest room reservation requests for the hotel, third party bookings, reporting, providing guests with detailed information about hotel facilities, and answering questions related to the property and local area. This role involves blocking rooms, entering group rooming lists, processing prepayments, billing no-show reservations, processing third party commissions and performing other assigned tasks. Additionally, the Area Reservation Agent will answer all incoming calls. This position provides support for both Grand Hyatt Scottsdale Resort and Royal Palms Resort & Spa.

• Deliver exceptional customer service in a dynamic, fast-paced environment by quickly adapting to guest and resort needs.
• Provide personalized support to high-profile resort guests throughout reservations, billing, and booking processes to ensure an outstanding experience.
• M anage third-party bookings (OTAs) with precision, maintaining strong attention to detail and fostering positive relationships with online partners.
  
  

Qualifications

• Great communication skills
• Opera experience preferred
• Computer experience required
• Hotel/resort reservation or front desk experience is preferred
• Ability to sit continuously to perform essential job functions
• Familiarity with the surrounding area is a plus
• Must be able to work a normal workday Monday - Friday
