The Food & Beverage Administrative Assistant in the organization and clerical duties of the Food & Beverage Office by functioning as the central contact for information specific to this department.
Responsibilities
- Politely and professionally answer the telephone and greets clients.
- Maintain an organized professional-looking office environment
- Maintain an accurate and easy-to-use filing system for storing confidential documents.
- Create and distribute reports necessary for the department(s).
- Develop professional presentation materials, with guidance and utilizing available resources.
- Respond to inquiries - inbound phone and written queries.
- Conceptualize, draft and send well-constructed and professional correspondence and proposals.
- Host property tours, familiarizing customers and potential customers with property features, products and services.
- Maintain positive inner-hotel relationships with all hotel departments to expedite efficient communication.
- Responsible for all VIP guests initial contact and servicing VIP guest needs.
- Must respond to all calls, emails and written communication within 24 hours, except on weekends.
- May need to accompany hotel manager to meet and greet guest(s) at the airport and/ or in-town.
- Work closely with all departments to create and service guest amenities and gifts.
- Provide administrative assistance for thr Food & Beverage colleagues in the hotel.
- Others duties assigned by the Leader.
Experience
- HS Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years of Administrative Assistance or similar experience
- Computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and brand property Management System(s).
- Exercise excellent communication and listening skills.
Pay Rate: $22.00/hour
