Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Mold Set Up Technician to join our team on the 3rd shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and maintaining molds on production machines to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and install molds on injection molding machines according to specifications.
• Perform mold changes and adjustments to optimize production efficiency and product quality.
• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of molds to prevent downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mold-related issues during production runs.
• Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate records of mold setups, adjustments, and maintenance activities.
• Follow all safety protocols and company policies during all operations.
  
  
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience in mold setup or a related manufacturing role preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work the 3rd shift schedule: Sunday through Thursday, 10:45 PM to 7:30 AM.
• Ability to lift and move heavy molds and equipment as required.
  
  
  

Work Environment

This position is based in our Grand Haven, MI facility and requires working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn at all times.
