Director of Ticket Sales – Grand Forks, ND

About Grand Forks Northwoods League Softball

Grand Forks will be home to a Northwoods League Softball (NWLS) team beginning in the 2026 season, bringing high-level summer collegiate softball to the region. The team will compete at Albrecht Field on the campus of the University of North Dakota, providing top college softball players from across North America with an opportunity to develop their skills in a competitive environment while delivering high-energy entertainment for fans.

The Position:

We’re looking for a passionate, driven, and community-focused salesperson to help launch and grow our new summer collegiate softball team in Grand Forks. In this role, you’ll lead the charge in selling ticket packages to businesses, families, and community organizations—creating memorable experiences and driving revenue. You’ll also play a key role in building and refining ticket offerings, analyzing results, and helping us build one of the most engaging fan bases in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Ticket Sales & Group Outings
  • Sell full-season, mini-plan, and group ticket packages to businesses, families, and civic organizations.
  • Own the full sales process: prospecting, pitching, closing, and servicing accounts.
  • Customize experiences for different buyer types—from company outings and youth teams to themed nights and fundraising groups.

2. Package Building & Strategy
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to build creative and compelling ticket packages.
  • Revise offerings throughout the season based on sales performance and feedback.
  • Help design value-driven promotions and offers for different audience segments.

3. Community Engagement
  • Develop relationships with schools, nonprofits, youth sports programs, and community leaders.
  • Create group experiences that add value, like fundraisers, on-field recognition, and custom experiences.
  • Represent the team at community events to generate leads and build local awareness.

4. Sales Reporting & CRM Management
  • Maintain accurate records of all sales activity in CRM.
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance against sales goals.
  • Analyze and report on sales trends, customer insights, and package performance to improve future strategy.

5. Game Day Activation
  • Serve as the main point of contact for your accounts on game day.
  • Assist with group hosting, will call, ticket scanning, and fan engagement activities.
  • Ensure all ticket-related fan experiences run smoothly and exceed expectations.

Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication skills and a talent for building relationships.
  • Creative thinker with an eye for developing offers that drive attendance and value.
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts and track progress.
  • Willingness to work non-traditional hours, including nights and weekends during the season.

Core Values:
We live by our EPIC values—Experience Obsessed, Positive Energy, Innovating Constantly, and Community Minded. We're not just selling tickets—we're building a movement. If you're passionate about people, driven to perform, and ready to be part of something from the ground up, we want you on our team.

Benefits & Compensation:
  • Competitive base salary with additional earning potential tied to team success.
  • Unlimited PTO (with seasonal restrictions)

We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, age, disability, gender identity, marital or veteran status, or any other protected class.
