Position Summary: The purpose of this position is to assist the Honors College as an Office Student Worker. This staff member will staff the Honors College front desk, work with our Director on co-curricular programmatic needs, and provide event support. Primary Responsibilities: Managing program registration and attendance data Front desk administration Event Staffing: Social events, speaker series, research conferences, banquets, service projects, etc. Equipment Used and Responsibility: Printer: printing student documents Microsoft Outlook: retrieve and send emails Microsoft Teams: file storage, group calls, and connecting with team members Qualifications: Must be an excellent communicator, problem-solver, and have a positive, eager attitude Must be willing to commit to 5 hours/week Experience/Education: Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy. Therefore, all applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements to be considered for student employment: Enrolled at GCU as a full-time student in a Bachelor’s program or Master’s program. Retain a 2.0 GPA as a Bachelor level student or a 3.0 GPA as a Master level student. Maintain good financial and academic (SAP) standing with the University. You may be subject to termination if you fall below the minimum requirements.
