The College of Nursing and Health Care Professions is seeking a part-time Faculty Member for Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioners (AGACNP). This role is remote. What you will do: Teach one or more subjects within prescribed curriculum to facilitate and engage students in the learning process Compile bibliographies of specialized materials for outside reading assignments Stimulate class discussions Compile, administer, and grade examinations, or assign this work to others Remain current with new trends and development in his/her field of expertise Required to maintain the equivalent of a two courses per semester Attend six days per year for the AGACNP on campus student experience events. What you need: Master’s degree required (MSN) Eighteen (18) hours of graduate study in a field relevant to teach responsibilities Two or more years of relevant nursing/medical experience as a practicing nurse practitioner Unencumbered, unrestricted active current RN Licensure in Arizona or a compact state is required. Board certified ACNP or AGACNP with an active, unencumbered, current, unrestricted license in AZ APRN license Bonus: Doctoral preferred or pursuing GCU's Christian worldview has shaped the university's mission and growth for more than 65 years.
