036Purpose within the Organization: The purpose of this position is to assist the Food Services department by acting as a Utility Worker for Qdoba. Responsibilities Related to Purpose: Sweep, mop, take out trash, wash dishes and preform other tasks as needed. Follow proper food handling procedures. Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective clothing (PPE), and employ correct lifting procedures, as necessary, to avoid injury. Report work related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to manager/supervisor. May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications: Must comply with any dress code and PPE requirements. Must have a Maricopa County Food Handler’s Card and non-slip shoes. Willingness to be open to learning and growing. Maintains a positive attitude. Ability to work a flexible schedule. Must be able to work weekday mornings, evenings, and weekends. Attends work and shows up for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity. Grand Canyon University is committed to a student first policy.
