Position Summary: Responsible for performing intermediate to advanced operational functions related to the deposit role ensure compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Qualifications/Skills Required:
Education: High School Diploma
Experience: 6 months of deposit operations or banking experience
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of deposit operations and core banking systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem solving
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft office suite (excel, outlook, word)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
Key Essential Job Responsibilities:
- Process and balance daily deposit ops work including but not limited to Wires, ACH, Returns, Large Dollar Review.
- Perform account research, reconcile discrepancies and resolve exceptions in a timely and accurate manner.
- Support branch personnel and internal departments with deposit-related inquiries
- Ensure compliance with applicable federal/state banking regulations, including Reg-E, REG CC and BSA/AML requirements.
- Provide backup and cross-training support to other areas within Deposit Ops as needed.
