Duties
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of residential construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets using advanced project management software such as Primavera P6 and HeavyBid
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate seamless project flow and communication
- Oversee daily construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, building codes, and schematics
- Review blueprints, schematics, contracts, and construction drawings to accurately interpret project requirements and specifications
- Utilize tools like Civil 3D and Bluebeam for detailed plan review, markup, and documentation management
- Manage procurement processes including construction estimating, contract negotiations, and change order management
- Monitor project progress through detailed project scheduling and tracking using Primavera P6 or similar software
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality standards are met while maintaining efficient time management practices
- Lead project meetings for coordination, problem-solving, and progress updates with all stakeholders
- Maintain comprehensive records of project activities, safety reports, change orders, and schedules for transparency and accountability
Experience
- Proven experience managing residential construction projects with a strong background in construction site supervision and project coordination
- Extensive knowledge of construction estimating techniques and contract administration
- Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, or equivalent tools
- Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately
- Familiarity with civil design software like Civil 3D is a plus for site layout understanding
- Strong understanding of project scheduling principles combined with hands-on site experience in residential environments
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects effectively
- Prior experience working with contracts and managing subcontractors on residential sites is highly desirable
