- Utilize construction estimating software such as HeavyBid to analyze project costs and validate billing accuracy
- Negotiate payment terms with vendors and subcontractors to optimize cash flow and maintain positive relationships
- Prepare detailed reports on accounts payable status, highlighting any discrepancies or potential issues
- Maintain organized records of all transactions, supporting documentation, and correspondence related to project costs
- Assist in cost control efforts by monitoring budget adherence and identifying opportunities for savings
Requirements
- Proven experience with construction estimating
- Strong understanding of construction estimating, project management, and contract administration processes
- Excellent negotiation skills to facilitate favorable payment terms with vendors and subcontractors
- Knowledge of construction site operations, contracts, and cost control methodologies
- Ability to analyze pricing data accurately and support construction management decisions
- Familiarity with construction site experience is preferred to better understand project workflows
