We are seeking a reliable, hands-on AV Installation Helper to assist with audio-visual setups on an as-needed basis. This is a flexible, project-based role perfect for someone looking for extra work, freelancers, or anyone interested in the AV industry.
You will be working alongside a lead installer to help set up, mount, and configure various audio and video systems. No advanced engineering degree required—just a great attitude, basic tool skills, and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with Installation: Help mount TVs, projectors, speakers, and display screens.
- Cable Management: Help run, pull, and organize audio, video, and network cables.
- Lifting & Unpacking: Unbox equipment and safely move tools and AV gear around the job site.
- Site Prep & Clean-up: Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe; dispose of packaging materials after installation.
- Team Support: Follow directions from the lead installer to ensure jobs are completed efficiently and on time.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Experience: Basic experience using hand tools (drills, screwdrivers, levels) is highly preferred. Prior AV, construction, or cable-pulling experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand or bend for extended periods.
- Reliability: Strong punctuality and reliable transportation to get to job sites.
- Communication: Good listening skills and a professional demeanor when working around clients.
- Must be able to pass drug test and background check
